Mr. Tahir Hassan Qureshi joined PSPC’s Board on January 18, 2021. Mr. Tahir Hassan Qureshi is a distinguished banking and finance professional with over three decades in the industry. A fellow of ICAP and member of UK’s Chartered Public Finance & Accountancy institute, he has led premier Pakistani banks in C-suite roles, including a notable tenure as CEO of Allied Bank (2017–2020). Under his leadership, the bank launched its cutting-edge Innovation Lab, driving digital banking and financial inclusion.

A recognized authority on financial compliance, Mr. Qureshi serves on ICAP’s AML Supervisory and Appellate Boards, championing FATF-aligned risk management standards. He advises the Pakistan Credit Rating Agency on Moody’s risk analytics and holds various independent and advisory directorships—including PSPC, Akhuwat Housing Finance, and Habib Allied Holding (UK). He also contributes to industry bodies such as ICAP, the Pakistan Bankers’ Association, and the Institute of Bankers Pakistan.
